Abstract

As a precious legacy of ancient Chinese music and dance art, Dunhuang music and dance carries rich historical and cultural connotations. Integrating it into university art education not only helps to inherit and promote the art of Dunhuang music and dance but also enriches educational content and enhances students' aesthetic literacy and artistic innovation capabilities. This article proposes the four major cultural values and revelations of Dunhuang music and dance, with the aim of studying its significance and strategies for inheritance within university art education. At the same time, it analyzes the value of Dunhuang music and dance art in the management of university art education and then discusses the strategies for its inheritance in university art education. Finally, the article points out that the study of Dunhuang music and dance has extremely high cultural, historical, artistic, social, and scientific research value and should continue to be deeply explored and inherited.
